SERVICE DETAILS
At the Academy we aim to:
- Teach the correct recitation of the Quran
- Deliver the highest quality of academic and Islamic education
- Present a realistic and balanced Islamic education within the framework of the Qur’an and Sunnah which is of paramount importance in order to help our future generations developing a strong personal and Islamic identity.
- Give the best quality of education within a safe and non-hostile environment stemming from Islamic moral teachings.
- Strengthen the children’s identity and to enable them to participate fully in the culturally diverse modern age. A high level of priority will be given to self-discipline in and out of Academy, in terms of respect, responsible citizenship and good behaviour towards Muslims and non-Muslims.
ADMISSIONS
The Academy does annual admissions of all new pupils at the beginning of each academic year. The minimum age for admissions is 5 years (by 15th October). The Academy advertises a month prior to an induction day on which all new pupils well be registered. After this date, the academy, will not accept any more admissions.
CONTRIBUTION
- As we are a registered charity we rely on your donations/contributions to ensure we are able to provide the best education possible.
- Each year we review our costs and suggest a contribution/donation amount to ensure we can keep providing the best possible service.
- For year 2019/20 our suggested contribution is £35 per child per month. We request all who are tax payers to please tick the gift aid box. This helps toward keeping our costs down.

ATTENDANCE AND ABSENCE
The timings of the classes are currently:
Blackhall Masjid Campus
Day: Monday - Thursday
Time: 5:00 - 7:00pm
Day: Friday
Time: 4:00pm - 5:45pm
Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Day: Saturday & Sunday
Time: 11:00am - 1:30pm
*Pupils will pray Zuhr before leaving class.
Westerhailes Campus:
Day: Monday - Thursday
Time: 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Attendance is mandatory. Pupils are not allowed to take days/time off for reasons such as parties, clubs etc. Also if you do intend to be going on holiday make it in the holidays of the institute.
