The Edinburgh & Lothians branch was formed in 1981 and we have an active branch with over 150 members.
We hold a weekly coffee morning with home baking, every Thursday from 10.00am to 12.00pm in Augustine United Church
except Christmas and Edinburgh Festival periods.
Membership is open to all retired employees from any sector or discipline in the NHS and Social Care services and their partners. Members of the Civil Service Retirement Fellowship are invited to participate in our activities.
In addition to the coffee mornings, we have a varied programme of events and activities including visits to places of interest during the summer months and talks by visiting speakers in the winter. We have introduced monthly lunches at a local catering college and a 5-day coach trip to North Scotland. A Christmas lunch is also arranged and we have a ‘Bring and Buy Sale’ in the autumn
