Personal Support and Development...
As we know and for some years, due to the precarious working conditions / economy in Spain we have had to leave and emigrate in search of better living conditions. We know that this decision, forced by circumstances, has an emotional impact too great to ignore. Because of this we have always offered since our birth as a social group, emotional support in the PIE-Precarious Office.
The act of leaving the country of origin can at first be presented as simple, where new and positive possibilities are opened up above all economic, since poverty is one of the major causes of stress and anxiety. But what we do not realise is that once past that ‘honeymoon’ period the reality can be harsh.
Here are the most common migration disorders:
- Syndrome of Ulysses
- SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder)
For further information on these mental health disorders, please see SAD – Seasonal Affective Disorder.
We provide an emotional support service on the impact of emigrating on our mental health. Please know that you are not alone and that we are here to support you.
If you want to ask for an appointment for our emotional support, please get in touch.
