Fort Community Centre

An enjoyable Exercise to Music experience to promote "functional for every day fitness" and well being, offering an opportunity to socialise after class.


WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN: By the end of the Course the participants will have learned the main elements of Fitness, some safe and effective ways to achieve a degree of cardiovascular fitness, strength, and flexibility; and the multi-dimensional benefits of regular movement and periods of exercise in daily life.

GENERAL APPROACH TO THE COURSE: Seated, standing and free moving options may be given throughout the class to make class content accessible to individuals. Class will include exercises to develop co-ordination and balance and all freely moving routines will be low impact. Small, light, hand weights may be used and are provided at the class. All exercises will be demonstrated, and adapted options shown to make class content accessible to promote meaningful participation for individual class members.

MATERIALS REQUIRED BY STUDENTS: Smooth soled supportive shoes recommended and comfortable clothing that allows full freedom of movement.

Cost: £67.50 for term (18 lessons)
