Grassroots Football with Hibernian Community Foundation

At Hibernian Community Foundation we are passionate about the development of grassroots football and providing opportunities for boys to play football at whatever level they are comfortable with.

Our Coaching Staff

When you engage with one of our football programmes you can be sure you are coaches are well trained, and can provide a safe, nurturing environment. As such our coaches are:

- Innovative and motivated with relevant age appropriate coaching experience
- Minimum Level 1.3 (Coaching in the Game) on the Scottish FA Children's Coach Education Pathway
- Experienced in working with nursery and primary aged school children
- Good communicators
- Enthusiastic about their work
- Committed to implementing and adhering to an equal game time policy for every age group
- Encouraged and supported to work beyond 1.3 level as part of the Foundation's regular Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and in-service scheme
- PVG checked and First Aid trained
- Subscribe to the Coaches Code of Conduct

Hibee Tots

Hibees Tots is our fun introduction to football for kids aged between 3 and 5 and is the first stage on our player pathway which could ultimately lead to playing in our Community Teams.

The Hibees Tots are our most prized asset so we look after them especially well!!

Each session is designed to stimulate imagination and improve balance, co-ordination, communication, listening skills, and build confidence using a mixture of activities such as skipping, hopping, running, jumping and fun related football activities all delivered by experienced and fully qualified Scottish Football Association accredited coaches.

What We Offer

- Representing Hibernian Football Club at community level
- Weekly affiliated league playing fixtures and coaching schedule (2 x training sessions a week)
- Embedded sports science sessions throughout the season
- Embedded diet and nutrition sessions throughout the season
