Normal service details...
We have long noticed the effect of music upon human beings and how we often deal with emotions through the use of creative arts.
The choir shows people that people with dementia have ability which changes the communities thinking.
There is no criteria for joining the choir other than you like music and singing.
The choir is inclusive of all and aims to offer people a good social meeting place, challenge the stigma of dementia and create a sound that people enjoy listening to.
The best thing about the choir is that we have fun reflecting the stories of the members through the songs we sing.
The choir often sing at various community centres and care homes, dementia conferences or other events within Edinburgh and beyond.
The Forget Me Notes choir meets twice a month and you would be really welcome to join us.
All abilities welcome.
