On Mondays from 5:00pm - 6:30pm a two-course, freshly prepared meal is served by our friendly team of volunteers at tables in our main hall. Other services provided alongside include:

Volunteer hairdressers from local salons and our talented staff team help individuals feel cared for and dignified with free haircuts.

A team of our volunteers provide support to people dealing with benefit claims and other financial matters.

The Open Door Meal is followed by a weekly film from our fantastic Community Cinema. For upcoming films see https://grassmarket.org/listings.

Customers can buy a £5 “Pay it Forward” meal voucher at our cafe counter or online and either give it to someone (redeemable at our cafe), or leave this with a member of staff who will ensure a meal is provided to someone in need. Other ways to support our community can be found here.
