How to Apply

WHO MAY APPLY

Registered or recognised charities, societies, trusts or other bodies. There is a preference for Scottish small and local charities.

The Cruach Trust will not consider applications from organisations with an income of more than £2 million.

Please note the Trustees will only award grants up to a maximum of £2000.

EXAMPLES OF GRANTS

- Supporting a horticultural apprenticeship, arranged through the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
- Grants for gardens, wildlife and the natural environment.
- Grants for organisations working with children, young carers, the elderly, vulnerable and homeless.
- Grants for music, the arts and cultural charities.
- Grants for medical research and support.

Applications are currently open. The deadline for applications is Friday 25 August 2023.

The trustees meet annually, in September, to consider applications and make awards. Please consider this timing when applying for funding.
