The EVOC Red Book

The online directory to find third sector Organisations, and their services across Edinburgh

Directory of local groups/projects who are offering specific support during the current COVID-19 pandemic »

In line with Government advice, most groups and organisations in the city have had to take the unfortunate decision to suspend face to face and group work activities. Please telephone or email the contacts listed for the group or organisation if you are interested in their work to check what alternative arrangements might be available or to find out about alternative groups or services in your area.

Offering you: A community for all men, working together to improve men’s health, connection and wellbeing.

The Men of Leith Men’s Shed is an authentic men’s shed run by men for the benefit of men. Whether you enjoy working with wood and metal, learning a new skill or simply having a wee blether you are welcome along.

Members can engage in a range of activities with opportunities for mentoring and sharing skills or learning new ones.

The Men’s Shed is designed to be a social and practical place where any man with time on his hands can find a sense of purpose, can go to make, repair or upcycle things, use tools, relax and/or make friends. Alongside DIY and woodwork, Men’s Sheds can also offer opportunities for arts, crafts, board games, computing, cooking and reading combined with the all-important ingredients of friendship and banter.

Let us know what you want, it’s your shed!

The project is open to men of all ages.

We meet every Tuesday from 2pm - 5pm at The Edinburgh Tool Library Workshop, 67 Commercial Street, Custom Lane, Leith.
