The EVOC Red Book

The online directory to find third sector Organisations, and their services across Edinburgh

Directory of local groups/projects who are offering specific support during the current COVID-19 pandemic »

In line with Government advice, most groups and organisations in the city have had to take the unfortunate decision to suspend face to face and group work activities. Please telephone or email the contacts listed for the group or organisation if you are interested in their work to check what alternative arrangements might be available or to find out about alternative groups or services in your area.

Why not come along and enjoy a tasty, hot, two course meal at a very reasonable price. Bring family, friends or come along and make some new friends.

Gorgie Salvation Army lunch club started in 1991 when a group of Salvationists saw a need in the community. It originally opened twice a week until the last 10 years. It now opens on a Thursday from 12:00pm. It serves a two course nutritional meal at the cost of £3.

The hall is suitable for wheel chair access with a disabled toilet.

There is a friendly, community based fellowship which awaits those who come.

The lunch club also offers meals to those who use our food bank for free to make sure that they at least have one good meal.

All ages welcome, popular with older adults 60+
