Details
Communication Support Group

Services are delivered by staff who are trained in accessible information, communication support and providing a safe environment. They bring together a number of service users and volunteers in a group setting. Having a social chat with volunteers and friends in a relaxed setting helps overcome any anxiety about loss of words.

Communication Support Group Service

Free support group for people who have had a stroke, their carers and families, particularly designed for younger persons.

The group offers support, friendship, activities, crafts, speakers and outings.

These run in many areas throughout Scotland. These Groups are available to anyone who has had a stroke. They are run by volunteers and stroke survivors themselves. They are supported by CHSS for insurance and guidance.
