In line with Government advice, most groups and organisations in the city have had to take the unfortunate decision to suspend face to face and group work activities. Please telephone or email the contacts listed for the group or organisation if you are interested in their work to check what alternative arrangements might be available or to find out about alternative groups or services in your area.

Mid-Market Rent is a scheme to help people on low and modest incomes access high quality affordable rented accommodation. The rent levels are generally set between social and private rent levels.

When allocating our mid-market properties preference will be given to:

- Potential first time buyers (unable to secure a mortgage)
- People living in private rented housing
- Those living with family, friends or relatives
- Tenants lacking security of tenure in their current home
- Owners of properties where a change of circumstances (e.g. health or relationship breakdown) is forcing or requiring a move
- People on waiting lists for council or housing association property
