Details
Blackhall Horticultural Society hold monthly meetings in the small hall at Blackhall St Columba's Church.

Our programme caters for all tastes in gardening and we do welcome suggestions of themes to be covered. We are a group of amateurs who all wish to learn that little bit more.

The main activity of the meetings are guest speakers and illustrated talks held monthly.

The 'Horti'.

Like all gardening groups we cater for anyone who has interest in gardening or horticulture but the 'horti' now plans to revert to its original roots! We are here to cater for the local community in North West Edinburgh - from the New Town to Cramond and across to Corstorphine!

We welcome new members no matter what their knowledge of gardening is - in other words we want to be the catalyst to promote enthusiasm for gardening! We want to foster greater gardening links with the community. By doing this we hope to share our knowledge and expertise freely among ourselves and the community thus creating a wider interest in our gardens.

As well as the monthly talks in the winter months we have a range of summer garden visits. We can also provide speakers on gardening subjects to other groups.

Annual subscription £10.00.
