North West Heritage Group provides a sense of community identity for those living in or are interested in the Edinburgh suburbs of Blackhall, Davidson’s Mains and Silverknowes.
We also participate in community development and the democratic process by commenting on all issues relating to local heritage.
We also provide information on the local area, research local history issues and complete an archive for community use at Blackhall Library.
Meetings...
Regular meetings take place during the months September - April with the exception of December at which invited speakers talk on a local history or allied subject.
The meetings are held alternately between Blackhall St. Columba’s Parish Church Hall and Davidson's Mains Parish Church Hall and commence at 7:30pm.
Membership costs £10.00 per annum per person. Lectures are free to members but a charge of £2.00 is made to non-members.
A summer outing is also arranged for which a charge may be made.
The group is run by a committee of members elected at the Annual General Meeting and is funded by members' subscriptions and donations.

Held at 7.30pm alternately between Davidson's Mains Parish Church Hall, Quality Street, Davidson's Mains and St Columba's Church Hall, Hillhouse Road, Blackhall. Members free but guests are very welcome for a small charge of £2 on the door. Everyone welcome!
