This is the place where you can buy exciting art and craft work made by the members who attend the workshops at Garvald Edinburgh, a creative community and charity supporting adults with learning disabilities. Whether you are looking for stunning ceramics, glass work, jewellery, textiles, crafted wooden items, or original artworks, purchasing our products means you are supporting our work and the opportunities for our members to continue to make, create, and develop their potential.
Garvald Edinburgh’s shop is situated in Morningside Edinburgh.
We sell unique artisan gifts produced in our workshops as well as books, art materials and craft produce from other suppliers.
These include a good range of children’s books and high quality wooden toys. We also stock organic health and beauty products by Weleda and Dr Hauschka as well as a range of homeopathic medicines.
We specialise in works by Rudolf Steiner, and by related authors on Anthroposophy. We also have a selection of books for young children.
It provides work experience for people we support on a full or part-time basis.Skills such as retail, stock, till and customer relations are developed.
