COVID-19 UPDATE...

We are still accepting new referrals for all our service.

The way you get support from us will be different for a while, but we are still here. We’ll do everything we can to help you stay safe. Things are changing quickly, so keep checking https://www.changegrowlive.org/north-west-recovery-service-edinburgh/info for updates.

You can call us on 01314 695 044 or email yanni.yannoulis@cgl.org.uk .

If your worker isn’t available, please give us a call on the main service number. We’re answering calls between 8:30am and 4:30pm weekdays, with out-of-hours/weekend call back.

Updates to the service...

Our hub is closed for now. Our service is running, but we have shifted to telephone-based support and appointments.

Please call us for needle exchange and naloxone supplies. Will we arrange either drop-off or collection of supplies.

Our groups won’t be running as usual for a while but we are starting to set up some online groups – please call the service for details.

We know this is a difficult time, but it won’t be like this forever.

If you have any questions or you're worried about something, please get in touch.

Normal service provision...

The Recovery Hubs are one – stop shops which offer a full range of drug and alcohol treatment and support services.

We will support you on your journey.

We offer advice, guidance, and support. You can get one-to-one support, recovery planning, group work, access to harm reduction information and more. We'll listen to your needs and tailor your plan to suit you.

Advice and Support...

Alcohol - We'll work with you to tackle your problems and reach your goals.

Drugs - We offer testing for blood-borne viruses.

Support for others - It can be difficult to know how best to help someone close to you who misuses drugs and alcohol.

Your first visit...

When you arrive at the service for the first time, a friendly member of our team will greet you. They'll help you fill out a form for new people and talk to you about how we can help you.

The easiest way for most people to start to get support from their local Recovery Hub team is to come in and chat to us or give us a call. The worker will listen, give advice and options, agree a plan and organise the first step of the plan.
