Juno Perinatal Mental Health Support, for Mums and Mums to be.

Our main aim as Juno is to help mums with perinatal mental health difficulties realise that they are not alone in how they feel and what they feel is indeed a very real illness.

What is meant by perinatal mental health?

The term perinatal cover the time period from the moment of conception until the child is 2. Some women aren’t diagnosed until their child is 2 or beyond but might have had symptoms of depression or anxiety for some time.

We use the phrase ‘mental health’ because it covers a broader spectrum – many people may not suffer depression, but battle with anxiety, stress, PTSD/birth and perinatal trauma and OCD for example.

We are run by volunteers that have experienced perinatal mental health issues (including Pre and postnatal depression, anxiety, OCD) first hand.

Online Peer Support...

We are now ready to start offering our peer support in an online capacity using Zoom.

Zoom is a video calling app a bit like Skype but it works really well for groups.

Monday evening from 8:00pm-9:00pm.

Please email us on juno.enquiries@gmail.com to access the meeting links.

If you have any further questions at all then please email: juno.enquiries@gmail.com

We look forward to seeing you!
