COVID-19 Service UPDATE...

Playgroup has now welcomed back all our returning children and we are just as excited to be back as they are!

New policies mean that parents are no longer aloud into the play room so here are some photos of the room as it is for the children returning. We had a deep clean and a refresh of all the paint in the playroom while we were closed, not a lot has changed for the children in the playroom other than the removal of soft furnishings and enhanced cleaning for the adults and lots of hand washing all round!

Please bear with us as we put in place new routines and practices which may need tweaked over the next few days as we find out exactly how everything works with the children in playgroup.

Normal service details...

We take children aged from 2-5 years old, they do not need to be potty trained or toilet trained.

We have a ratio of 1:5 and operate a parent helper policy, with each daily session costing £8.

We also provide a lunch club service if your child will be attending Gylemuir Nursery in the afternoons. This costs £5.50 a session, your child will stay in Playgroup after the session ends to have their packed lunch and will then be taken round to Gylemuir Nursery by a member of Playgroup staff.

We offer a wide variety of learning opportunities through play such as messy play, sand/water play, arts and crafts activities, music time, story time and outdoor play to name but a few.

We are open term time Monday-Friday.

We take children from 2 yrs and there's no need to be toilet trained.

We bill per term at £8 per session.

We require you to take at least 2 days per week and we ask parents to help one day every 3 weeks.
