Playgroup

We welcome children aged 2 - 5 years.

Children do not need to be toilet trained to come along and join us.

Children can attend 4 mornings or less but we recommend a minimum of two mornings to ensure your child becomes familiar with the playgroup routine.

We have a variety of arts and crafts, books, games and toys at our Playgroup. They are changed regularly to reflect the children’s interests. We have an outside area where the children can experience energetic play as well as explore various outdoor activities such as water, planting and investigative play.

We provide a rolling snack between 9:40am - 10:20am approx. encouraging independence and social skills. Snack is prepared in the playroom and the children are encouraged to help with the preparation.

We have three paid members of staff who are highly motivated and committed to helping your child play and develop their interests and learning.

Lunch Club...

We provide a Lunch Club for children at the Playgroup between 11:30am - 12:15pm.

Cost is £5.00/session.

Please bring a packed lunch. Simple dishes can also be heated if required. Children attending an afternoon place at Balgreen Nursery are escorted to the nursery by a member of staff.

Pricing...

A morning session costs £15.00 per child and fee notes are issued at the beginning of each month for the month.

Snack is charged at £2.00/month and a there is a £1.00 monthly charge for tissues and cleaning items.

Fees are subject to an annual review. There is a 2 week refundable deposit to be paid prior to your start date.

Childcare vouchers are a government scheme operated through employers that allow you to pay for childcare from your PRE-tax salary.
