Bellfield offers a range of spaces, ideal for holding regular classes, activities and community group meetings, as well as one-off public or private events.

Bellfield is a wonderful resource in the heart of historic Portobello. We have a number of spaces available to hire for community and commercial use, ranging from the period Celebration Hall with intact pews seating 300, to our flexible large and small halls. A number of break out rooms complement the halls, along with kitchen and toilet facilities.
CELEBRATION HALL AND FOYER...
Steeped in two centuries of history, the former church offers a dramatic backdrop for weddings, christenings and memorials. Celebration Foyer, the church’s entrance space, can be booked separately for smaller gatherings.
LARGE AND SMALL HALLS...
The smart and functional 1960s Large and Small Halls are perfect for parties, fairs, fitness classes and more, and can be booked alongside the well-equipped and spacious kitchen. The Large Hall’s elevated end-on stage is perfect for live performance and events.
Please note that after 6:00pm on Saturday evenings, the Large and Small Halls must be booked together.

To hire a space, contact us at bookings@bellfield.scot. Please provide a contact number and tell us about your requirements, and we’ll be in touch to help. It is possible to book the kitchen which is adjacent to the Large Hall.
A Community Rate is applied to bookings for charities, community and voluntary organisations, or organisations that can demonstrate not-for-profit ethos.
