Coronavirus compliant activities and groups welcome according to guidance at the time

For non-contact sports and dancing we can accommodate up to 18 people aged 12+

- Green peaceful environment tucked away from South Clerk Street
Our large hall and meeting rooms can provide physically distant space for activities. As of September 2020 these include certain types of music, non contact sports and some other activities.
If you have something in mind please contact the office to discuss how your requirements fit with being covid compliant. There’s some more information in our booking form.
Where possible we would love to help you get people out and active again, while complying with all the up to date coronavirus precautions.

St Peter’s large hall...
Are you looking for a big space with an excellent dance floor and small stage? St Peter’s hall has all this and more in a central Edinburgh location.
The 170m2 hall is used for dancing classes, dances and ceilidhs, children’s parties, adult’s parties, conferences, exhibitions, fairs, exercise classes, wedding receptions, fundraisers and cultural celebrations.
Limited parking available
If you are planning to sell alcohol at your event you need to apply for a license from City of Edinburgh Council.
Prices
- Daytime: £20 per hour
- Weekday evenings: £30 per hour
- Friday & Saturday evenings: flat rate £200

St Peter’s Church...
Suitable for concerts and weddings the church seats up to 400 people. Visiting performers arrange their own promotion.
Access for those with limited mobility or using a wheelchair is possible with assistance. Ramped access via a side door. Internally there are stairs down to the toilets. We hope to significantly improve this with our hall renewal project.

St Peter’s Choir Studio...
A cosy, bright upstairs 30m2 room with piano. Good for 20 - 30 people. Suitable for meetings, lectures, lessons, art groups, music groups and more. Access is up a flight of stairs or by lift.
Prices: £10 for the first hour, £8 per hour thereafter

St Peter’s meeting rooms...
Looking for somewhere to hold meetings, classes, lessons or discussions for 4-15 people? We have two bright rooms available.
The meeting rooms have their own entrance from the car park, toilet and kitchenette They are six steps up from ground level. Tables and chairs are provided.
Prices: First hour: £10, subsequent hours £8.
One parking space available for the organiser.

St Peter’s garden...
St Peter’s is very fortunate to have a quarter acre of sunny garden in south central Edinburgh.
Local residents and workers often sit in our garden to eat a picnic, play with their children or just sit and contemplate. In the summer we have barbecues and a summer fair in the garden. Check our calendar for updates on what’s on.
A garden of remembrance sits beside the Millar Chapel.
The garden is maintained by a team of volunteers.
