My classes are now running as live online classes due to the current Covid situation.
You will need to download the “Zoom” app "zoom cloud meetings" from the app store or access it at www.zoom.us and sign-up/register but there is no need to upgrade/subscribe to anything even if prompted as I’m the host. This needs to go on the device you will be using for the class, it needs to be a computer or device/tablet with a webcam, a mobile ‘phone would work but might be a bit too small to be useful. Please check this page regularly as the class times may have to be tweaked each week to allow for us all to log-in at the start of each class.
Pilates is not just a series of exercises, it is a way of life. It will not only change the way you look, but how you think and feel, increasing your understanding of your body, the most precious gift we have.
The classes are live so we all can have a wee chat & laugh to cheer ourselves up, but most importantly we can work really hard and get our bodies looking great.
Ideally no children should be present at the class, if however that is not possible can I PLEASE ask that they stay very quiet or you mute your microphones, my aim is for all the classes to feel just like your classes at the halls.
For each class time you need a “link” supplied by me (or “meeting ID” and password) so anybody swapping classes would need to contact me in advance each week to get the link to the correct class.

Pilates is a body conditioning method that works in a different way to other fitness techniques. Targeting the deep postural muscles, Pilates works by building strength from the inside out, re-balancing the body and bringing it into correct alignment. It helps to reshape your body, which will become longer, leaner and more toned. It will also improve your posture, achieving the perfect balance between strength and flexibility, and it is a great way to relieve unwanted stress and tension. It's slow, controlled approach means that it gives much longer-term results - and it is especially recommended by medical specialists for those with back problems. In mat work classes particular attention is paid to strengthening the core abdominal and back muscles. This is the ultimate exercise for anyone who wants a toned, strong and aligned body. Pilates is subtle, gentle on the body and not too strenuous. It is about movement and how to use muscles in a way that work for you, in harmony with the breath.

8 consecutive weeks course (one class per week): £76.00
(payable at the first class by cheque or in advance of the first class by bank transfer(BACS).
Due to the small class size, booking is essential. Please contact me for availability and to reserve a space.
