The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul provides assistance to those in need. We are here to support individuals and families as we would support a friend. No distinction is made as to religion, colour, or creed, as to whom we serve, or those who we are serving.
What is our aim?
To visit those in need - not necessarily financial need - in their homes
What do we do?
We listen; sometimes we help solve a problem; sometimes we refer people to another agency. Our work is always confidential
We are also a spiritual group - our commitment to help is an expression of our faith.
Food Poverty: We can also help with food poverty by providing Vouchers for Aldi, we also give people vouchers for the café in South Leith Church, Leith.
Who is it for?
Older Adults, men, women and youth.
