Participants also take part in weekly walks and have the opportunity to gain multiple certified qualifications including SQA Core Skills, Emergency First Aid at Work & Elementary Food Hygiene.
The Springboard programme culminates in a 3-day residential stay in partnership with Venture Trust. This involves a trip to the Highlands where a variety of personal development topics are incorporated into activities such as hill-walking and abseiling.
Participants will receive regular one-to-one support and guidance throughout the course to create action plans and signpost to any relevant employment, training or voluntary opportunities. The support provided can continue after the course until gaining employment or achieving the goals set.
