COVID-19 Service UPDATE...

We are delighted to announce that Eucharist Services in the building of St Peter’s have resumed. We greatly enjoy worshipping together again, and all are very welcome!

Sundays at 10.45am: This Eucharist service follows a shortened version of the 1982 Liturgy. No congregational or choral singing is currently allowed, but hopefully it will be soon. The service is recorded to put onto YouTube to premiere at 6.30pm that evening.

Thursdays at 11am: This much shorter Eucharist Service is all conducted by the Clergy. It has no sermon or music.

All our services that have been recorded since lockdown can be found on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHhYHVFO1hqHLPo4GtFjG_A

When attending services we ask:

- Everyone wears face masks / coverings
- As the seat cushions have been removed, you are welcome to bring your own cushion. Please just remember to take it away with you again!
- If you require the use of the disabled access, please enter via the Clergy Vestry door, and ring the bell on that door when you arrive.
all who attend are required to complete the consent form for the NHS ‘Test & Protect’. These details are kept for 21 days.

Normal service details...

Join us in worship! Different styles and times to suit, whether you are a committed Christian or an enquiring mind.

Sunday 8:30am - a short traditional service of Holy Communion

Sunday 10:45am - a service of Holy Communion with choral music + Children’s Church in the hall. Children and adults regroup at the end for communion together. The traditional 1970 and more modern 1982 Scottish liturgies are used.

On (most) first Sundays of the month the main services at 10:45am are:

- A traditional service of sung mattins in the church
- A more informal all-age service of Holy Communion in the hall

Sunday 6:30 pm Choral Evensong usually takes place on the fourth Sunday of the month.

And it’s not just Sundays: why not join one of our mid week services?

- A said service of Holy Communion at 11:00am on the first Thursday morning of the month. Followed by lunch in a local restaurant.
- A said service of Holy Communion at 2:30pm on third Tuesday of the month. Followed by tea, coffee and homebaking with plenty of time for conversation.
