At Fusion we provide supported accommodation to young people aged 16-25 who are affected by homelessness in Edinburgh.
We want you to find us as a place you can settle down for the time being and consider us as your home.
There are staff on call who are there to support you with things that you might need help with. Whether you need help to make an appointment, go to a meeting, cook your dinner or simply just have a chat.
We work with a system called the Life Skills Matrix. It’s a tool we use to help us help you with making sure you are ready to move into your next home.
Our job is to make sure that you are as ready as you can be for this exciting new chapter in your life.
The accommodation comprises of 15 rooms with a communal lounge & Kitchen and shared tea bars and bathrooms on each landing. The service prioritises support on developing independent living skills and sourcing employment or training opportunities.
Additional Support is provided either within the service or through referrals to other agencies, this could include housing options advice, assisting with communication needs, improving physical & mental health, addressing any substance misuse problems, income / debt advice, legal issues and utilising social networks.
The aim of the service is to provide a safe living environment for service users during their transition from homelessness to permanent long term accommodation.
All referrals come from The City of Edinburgh Councils, Hostels and Temporary Accommodation Service.
