St John's Hill Service is a supported accommodation service located in Edinburgh.

Temporary Supported Accommodation provides short and medium term housing support to people who are homeless.

People using the service receive support to find suitable accommodation and to develop skills and address issues in their lives so they can sustain their home.

The service aims to provide "the necessary individual support to enable service users to move on to live in more permanent accommodation, with or without support".

St John's Hill Support Accommodation...

St John's Hill Service provides supported accommodation for twenty homeless men and women aged 16 and upwards. Our objective is to enable service users to prepare for and sustain independent living. Service users commit to a support package for a period of between 6 and 18 months.


Referrals can only be made through City of Edinburgh Council referring officers. However, if you think this services may be a good option for you, please discuss this during your housing assessment. The referring officer can then check to see if there are any vacancies.

You will be asked a few questions to determine your housing options. If it is found that you require temporary supported accommodation then you may be referred to a range of providers in Edinburgh.
