The EVOC Red Book

The online directory to find third sector Organisations, and their services across Edinburgh

Directory of local groups/projects who are offering specific support during the current COVID-19 pandemic »

In line with Government advice, most groups and organisations in the city have had to take the unfortunate decision to suspend face to face and group work activities. Please telephone or email the contacts listed for the group or organisation if you are interested in their work to check what alternative arrangements might be available or to find out about alternative groups or services in your area.

If you are struggling with debt or money problems we can help

Our Money Advice service can help tenants in a number of ways

Tenants can speak in confidence to an independent money advice worker, who is employed by Citizens Advice Bureau but for convenience is based in the Dunedin Canmore office. If you need help with paying your rent, gas, utility bills, council tax, credit card bills, or other bills, the Money Advice worker can provide advice about debt management, cheaper loans and budgeting.

They will also speak to or write to companies on your behalf. Normally tenants can be seen by appointment in one of our offices, however if travelling to our office is not practical due to ill health or mobility issues, a home visit can be arranged. Unfortunately there are times when demand for the service is high however we aim to offer an appointment within two weeks.

Appointments can be arranged by contacting us in person, email or telephone.
