Our Transitional Education service at TEENS+ is designed to assist young adults who are not quite ready to take the step into post school education, work or to a new home.
TEENS+ is a 4 year transitional education programme for young people aged 17-24 with complex additional support needs and severe communication problems, who have left school.
The programme comprises an extension of the students’ previous education, with emphasis on the transition to a more independent life in the community. It comprises of 4 different elements: learning; communication; life skills; and sports.
We employ a person-centred education plan that aligns with the needs and aspirations of our students, and provide the compassion to help see it through.
