Volunteer at our classes
What classes?
We are looking for volunteers (over 18 years old) to support our new weekly dance project for older people, called ‘Re-Connect’.
‘Re-Connect’ is a class for older people aged 65+ on Mondays from 10.30am - 12.30pm from 6 March to 4 Dec 2023.
Who are they for?
This supportive community class is designed for people who may have dementia, Parkinson’s or restricted movement.
The activities will be led by a professional dance artist, and movements can be done seated, standing or a combination of both.
Training & Location
Training will be provided to volunteers so they can confidently support participant’s engagement in the activities.
The class will be held at DN Dance studios at 9B South Gyle Crescent, Edinburgh EH12 9EB.
