Volunteer With Us

We have loads of opportunities for you to get involved, have fun and develop.

Some of the many activities you can help with:

- Arts & Crafts
- Gardening
- Writing and Reading Classes
- Music Therapy and Lessons
- Basic IT and iPad Skills
- Photography

Or any other skills you believe you could bring to us - the list is endless!

As an activity volunteer you will work as part of a team in our day centre to give our members a great experience.​ You will work with members to help improve their cognitive skills and at the same time have fun through activities.

You could be asked to help out with specific groups e.g. quizzes, cooking group, board games etc., or assist our less outgoing members to become more integrated with the others.

You will actively contribute to the maintenance of a professional and welcoming environment at Edinburgh Headway Group and keep our day service functioning in line with Covid measures. This is a rewarding and satisfying role, where you can really make a difference!

Commitment: minimum of 2 hours per week with a minimum commitment of 6 months - flexible times available Monday to Thursday

Requirements: All Volunteers must be 18 years or over and will be required to join the PVG scheme.
