Come and join our Walking Group!
All ages welcome, no restrictions on shape or size!
We have no route marches, and no long distance treks – an enjoyable ramble with time to admire the beauty of our countryside. No pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but a welcome cup of tea at journey’s end.
Walkers meet after Church service for coffee. We meet on 3rd Sunday of the month and generally walk locally eg. Reservoirs ,Water of Leith etc. When the weather improves we sometimes take the bus and go further afield or do car sharing, depending on where we are going. We take a picnic and flask to enjoy the countryside and the chat along the way.
Anyone interested in joining the group would be made most welcome. It’s a very friendly group and I can guarantee you will go home with a good feeling and smile on your face. You don’t need to come to every walk just whatever suits you.
Our walks are on the last Sunday of each month, departing at 11:30am from the Kirkgate Car Park, Currie.
Open to all ages, popular with older adults.
