Our specialist Welfare Rights service supports individuals with learning disabilities, their families and carers to access the benefits they are entitled to – wherever they live in Scotland.
This can involve benefit checks, supporting individuals to complete forms, and offering benefits advice. It can also involve helping people to challenge decisions around their benefits – helping them raise their voice around matters that directly affect their human rights.
ENABLE Scotland has provided this service since 2013 and has so far assisted people to claim over £5 million.
