We were delighted to receive a grant from The Edinburgh Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund.
The grant is to support parent carers of children, young people and adults with learning disability to access counselling, coaching, massage and other treatments, personal fitness etc to provide opportunities to rest and recharge
Our partners in this are FAIR (0131 622 1962 - www.fairadvice.org.uk) who provide information, advice and support including benefits.
Supporting parent carers with their emotional well-being and mental health so that they can continue to care for as long as they wish to.
A well-being coach works directly with the parent carer to explores opportunities and connections for the short and longer term.
