Our Sunday Gatherings provide an opportunity for us to meet together to learn from God’s word and enjoy each other’s fellowship.
Morning services: 10:30am
Join us for our all-age family gatherings.
A creche is available throughout both services and we’ve a room for nursing mums as well as age-specific classes run during the services for children in N1-S3 (3-14 years of age).
Evening service: 7.00pm
Join us for our evening gathering.
We love God’s word and our Sunday Gatherings faithfully teach from it each week. We tend to work through books from both the Old and New Testament. If you can’t manage along on Sunday there’s lots of opportunities through the week to join in age specific activities and bible studies.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Worried about fitting in? Don’t know what to expect? Don’t be! At Charlotte Chapel you’ll find there are students, young workers, families and retirees, from different countries and a variety of faith-backgrounds. You don’t even have to be a Christian to come along!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
There’s no dress-code – come in whatever you feel comfortable wearing. Most people are pretty casual.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN? DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?
As you arrive, you’ll be given a welcome and everything you need for the service. There’ll be some prayers, a Bible-reading, a talk and congregational singing with words being shown on screens around the church. We sit down for most things except singing. We have communion once a month either at the morning or evening service when we give thanks to Jesus for what he did for us on the cross – come along and find out more! Each service lasts about an hour and a quarter
WHAT ABOUT MONEY?
You’re not expected to bring any money with you. Our regulars do contribute to church funds, but visitors are our guests. If you would like to give there are offering boxes on all the main exits from the church at both ground floor level.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE SERVICE?
Refreshments are served after the service – and they’re also free. You can slip off after the formal close if you like, but lots of people choose to stay and chat over drinks and biscuits. Its a great opportunity to meet folk and find out more. There’s also a Welcome Point in the foyer where you can find out more about specific activities that will be of interest to you – whether its the kids programme, what’s on for internationals, students, women, men, seniors or more. Look out for the banner on the left hand side as you leave the Shandwick Room and pick up a welcome booklet or sign up to let us know how we can help you.
