The Young Mum's group is a place to meet new mums or mums to be.
Take part in fun activities like Zumba, cooking, dancing and photography.
Free creche and lunch provided.
Open for any young mum or mums-to-be aged 14- 21 years.
The Citadel Young Mums project has been running since 2007, supporting young mums in the local and surrounding areas up to the age of 21. The group meets weekly and provides a space for mums to come together, try new things and get support and advice on a range of different topics.
Examples of the type of activities and topics we cover are:
- Cooking
- Arts and Craft
- Emotional and Physical Health
- Housing Advice
- Employability
- Income and Budgeting Support
- Parenting Support
Mums can be referred by health professionals, social workers and other agencies; alternatively they can also self-refer too.
