'One stop shop' for young people at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
At our Youth Housing Hub in Edinburgh young people can get emergency help and access routes to the most appropriate advice and support for them.
You can access the Youth Housing Hub in person (at 55 Albany Street, Edinburgh, EH15 2BL), or by email and telephone.
Young people can refer themselves or be referred by others, but we don’t require ‘official’ referrals and drop-ins are welcome.
The Hub is open Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm.
Drop-in hours are 9:00am - 1:00pm – or appointments can be made for the afternoon.
As well as speaking 1-1 to a youth worker about their housing situation, in the Hub young people can access:
- Food parcels
- Toiletry parcels
- Laundry facilities
- Shower facilities
Our youth workers will then help young people to access routes to other appropriate services whether through Rock Trust or one of our partner agencies, some of whom are also based out of the Hub. This might include a specific housing support option or mental health services including our own health & well-being programme.
In addition to housing advice, young people can take part in formal and informal group work and 1-1 activities at the Hub, to help them develop their independent living skills and employability, and access training and volunteering opportunities, as well as some social activities such as cooking and music groups.
