DESCRIPTION
Seagull Trust Cruises is a charitable organisation, wholly run by unpaid volunteers, that provides free barge trips for people with special needs.
What we do...
We provide canal cruises for anyone with special needs and the elderly.
We offer fully accessible boats suitable for wheelchairs.
We provide tea/coffee and biscuits.
We are a charity funded solely by donations and grants.
We operate with crews of trained volunteers.
Our barges are restricted to a maximum of 12 passengers, including helpers, and the bookings are allocated on a first come first serve basis.
It is the responsibility of the group to ensure that the ratio of helpers (Min 2) to disabled people is adequate.
