A B Charitable Trust

The A B Charitable Trust is an independent grant-making organisation, founded in 1990 by Yves and Anne Bonavero to champion human dignity and support marginalised and excluded groups. The Trust has no endowment and is funded annually by the Bonavero family.

The way we work...

We work closely with others concerned with justice for marginalised groups, recognising that we can do more together than we can on our own.

Listening and building relationships is fundamental to our approach, as is being aware of how we fit in the ‘ecosystem’ of charities, funders, and civil society. We want to know that our funding adds value, given what others are doing, so that we achieve the best possible outcomes for the people we seek to support.

We like to support organisations who learn from their work and promote the voice of marginalised and excluded people.
