DESCRIPTION
Broomhouse Growers is a project of the Broomhouse Community Growing Association supported by Space and Wester Hailes Growing Communities.
We are a group of Broomhouse residents, our goal is to establish a community run market gardening and ‘community food hub’ project by and for people of Broomhouse.
We have started at a small community garden behind Broomhouse Market which will provide a hub for the management of several growing sites around Broomhouse.
Fruit and vegetables grown at the garden/s will be used for shared community meals, distributed between the growers and/or good causes such as the local food bank.
