Only services that are currently available during COVID-19 are listed in the directory.
In line with Government advice, most groups and organisations in the city have had to take the unfortunate decision to suspend face to face and group work activities. Please telephone or email the contacts listed for the group or organisation if you are interested in their work to check what alternative arrangements might be available.

Care for Carers is a voluntary organisation established in 1989 to provide support services, information, training and advice for carers and former carers regardless of age, gender, disability or relationship with the person they care for.
Our local support services are aimed at carers in North East Edinburgh, while training and short break services are offered to carers across the city.
We are well-known for our short breaks to carers, provide a range of breaks from day events to residential short breaks where we take the carers away to recharge their batteries, have some fun, enjoy the company of others and learn something new.
Care for Carers also works with other individuals and organisations, both voluntary and statutory, to promote and to develop new services and initiatives for carers locally and citywide.
The project gives support to all adult carers regardless of the age or disability of the person they care for.
