Directory of local groups/projects who are offering specific support during the current COVID-19 pandemic »

In line with Government advice, most groups and organisations in the city have had to take the unfortunate decision to suspend face to face and group work activities. Please telephone or email the contacts listed for the group or organisation if you are interested in their work to check what alternative arrangements might be available or to find out about alternative groups or services in your area.

Description

We are a church in Central Edinburgh - a group of people who believe that Jesus is alive and is with us.

We believe that God wants to use us to share his goodness with the world. We meet together in communities and on Sundays, and whoever you are we’d love you to come and be involved.

A bit about transport:

Free Parking

There are two suggested locations where free Sunday parking is allowed on the road marked with a single yellow line. Each of these areas can accommodate lots of cars and are between 5 and 10 minutes' walk from the building. The two locations are alongside the Meadows, on Melville Drive and along Ponton Street behind Central Hall. Unfortunately, free parking is not available nearby during the week.

Other Options

Both metered parking and paid car parks are available within the vicinity of the church building (within 5 minutes' walk). You will find car parks at Princes Exchange in Riego Street and also at Fountainpark.

Bicycles

There is currently no provision for bicycle storage and/or security at Central Hall.

Buses

Tollcross is well served by Lothian bus services. The 1, 2, 10, 11, 15, 16, 23, 24, 27, 34, 35, 36, 45, 47 and 124 services all stop near Central Hall, as do buses to/from West Linton/Biggar.
