At CAP we are on a mission to release thousands of families from grinding poverty through award winning debt counselling and community groups. By equipping and empowering local churches to reach out on their doorsteps, we’re bringing hope to tens of thousands of people every year.
For over 20 years, CAP has been providing free debt help in Scotland. CAP Scotland helps hundreds of people get out of debt every year, equipping them to withstand whatever storms may come their way in the future.
The Edinburgh North Debt Centre (opening in May 2021) is run by Mustard Seed Edinburgh and helps people across the north half of the city. For anyone struggling with debt, call free on 0800 328 0006
Mustard Seed Edinburgh also runs our Job Club and Life Skills services. The Job Club is a friendly place where you will get practical help as you seek employment. It's a relaxed environment with the chance to meet other jobseekers, get support and gain the tools you need to find work.
Life Skills is a friendly group where you’ll gain practical skills and discover new ways to live for a brighter future. If you want to see your money go further, find ways to save money, have more time and less hassle in your day to day life, then Life Skills is for you.
All of our services are completely free and are for everyone.
