The Cramond Association is a local thriving community organisation for everyone living in the wonderful areas of Cramond, Barnton and Cammo. We are a membership body dedicated to encouraging more people to take an active interest in the local area and to ensure the preservation, development and improvement of its unique features for the benefit of all.
We take an active interest in the improving community around us – either dealing with planning issues, managing airport noise or improving our local environment. Our views are listened to by our MP, our MSPs, the City of Edinburgh Council and others. Our influence stems from our membership numbers – we have over 700 households as members and we work closely with the Cramond & Barnton Community Council to make sure your views are heard.
We also have an active social programme including monthly talks and social events in the Millennium Room in Cramond Kirk Hall, and Carols By Candlelight just before Christmas. We also have a History section which runs its own programme of talks with interesting speakers. Everyone is welcome to come to our meetings.
If you are not a member, please join us! You don’t have to live in the area to enjoy our benefits. The membership fees are minimal and the Cramond Association provides so much for such a small cost.
