DESCRIPTION
Dreghorn Preschool is a charity run nursery based in the Dreghorn, South West Edinburgh.
We operate on a not-for-profit basis, allowing us to provide an excellent level of childcare at affordable prices, for both the civilian and military communities.
Dreghorn Preschool was established in 1983 to provide an informal 'playgroup'-style childcare service for children whose parents were serving in the military community in Dreghorn and Redford.
We have grown and expanded significantly since then and are now an Edinburgh City Council registered provider of Early Years Learning, offering funded and non-funded places to children from across the local community.
We are housed in two inter-linked modified former Army quarters on the Dreghorn Estate off Redford Road.
All children are welcome and we accept children from the age of two.
We have 8 spaces for children aged 2 years and have 16 spaces for children in the pre-school rooms.
Outside we have a large enclosed garden that includes a purpose-built outdoor classroom and wildlife area with space and freedom to learn through play. See less
