Established in 1954, EGTG is one of Edinburgh's most respected amateur theatre companies.
The Edinburgh Graduate Theatre Group, or EGTG, has been putting on theatre productions in Edinburgh for over 60 years and has established its place as one of the city’s most respected amateur companies. With a reputation for tackling challenging contemporary work, in recent years, EGTG has mounted productions of plays by Mark Ravenhill, Abi Morgan, Patrick Marber, Martin McDonagh and Caryl Churchill, as well as innovative productions of Shakespeare and other classics.
