The EVOC Red Book

The online directory to find third sector Organisations, and their services across Edinburgh

Only services that are currently available during COVID-19 are listed in the directory.

In line with Government advice, most groups and organisations in the city have had to take the unfortunate decision to suspend face to face and group work activities. Please telephone or email the contacts listed for the group or organisation if you are interested in their work to check what alternative arrangements might be available.

Founded by Jim Slaven and Bradley Welsh in 2014 Helping Hands is an all volunteer community based organisation established to work with partners in challenging social and economic inequality in Edinburgh. When people support one another, there’s no limit to what we can do.

We reject the state funded poverty industry. Helping Hands receives no state funding. We rely on support from the communities we work with. Our work is also supported by Scotland’s top professional and ex-professional sportsmen and women and artists.

We represent a new approach to Community.
