Gorgie Dalry Community Council (GDCC) is an elected group of local people who care about and represent the community of Gorgie/Dalry, and want to make the area a better place to live.
We are always keen for more residents to get involved, either by standing for election, attending meetings, or volunteering support.
What is the purpose of Gorgie Dalry Community Council?
Our main purpose is representative; to engage with the local community and to put forward these views to the city council and other organisations including Scottish Government, NHS Lothian and Police Scotland. We are often consulted on how local services are delivered and other issues affecting our neighbourhoods. As a community council we have the right to be consulted on any planning applications in the Gorgie Dalry area and we are also kept informed about licensing applications.
