Juniper Green Nursery Playgroup

Juniper Green Playgroup was first established in 1967, and is a big part of the local community.

The playgroup is a registered charity and a member of the Scottish Pre-School Play Association (SPPA), with whom it is fully insured.

Juniper Green Playgroup is a non-profit making organisation, and relies on fees and fund-raising events to meet the running costs.

Juniper Green Playgroup provides places for children aged between two and five, and children do not need to be toilet-trained to attend.

The playgroup helps the children develop their social and learning skills through free play and creative art work, such as: sand and water play, painting and crafts, play dough and puzzles, block and construction play, loose parts play, dressing up and role play. We have a well stocked book and story corner and lots of musical instruments.

We have a lovely outdoor space for children to discover and explore the natural environment, including building with large loose parts and wooden blocks, mud kitchen, a large sand pit, wooden tool bench and shop, wigwam and a natural resource area.
