DESCRIPTION
L’Arche in the UK is part of an international life-sharing movement, seeking to make known the gifts of people with disabilities across the world and create better societies together.
L’Arche Communities are made up of people with and without disabilities sharing life in a local neighbourhood within a specific town or city. They include people who have a disability, support workers, volunteers and voluntary workers, as well as families, friends and neighbours.
We are local – with community clusters in 11 towns and cities across Britain.
We are national – supporting each other in one national charity with a shared vision and culture.
We are international – members of a federation with over 150 L’Arche Communities in 37 countries on 6 continents.

Welcome to L’Arche Edinburgh. We are a Community of around 80 people including people with and without learning disabilities, Support Assistants, volunteers, friends and neighbours, based in the Leith and Restalrig areas of Edinburgh.
